A Green Card

When I saw our sketch #433 at Kortskissen, I imagined a card with rays going out from the center. Luckily, I found one such paper in my stash. The paper is from K-Designs, and the Grattis (Swedish for “congrats”) is from a clear stamp set by Slöjd-Detaljer.

A Vintage Card

Our theme for Through The Purple Haze challenge #131 is Vintage. I used my beloved papers from Stamperia on my card. One of the papers had a sentiment print, so no stamping needed. Decorations are lace and Prima Marketing bling swirls.

Thanks for Kortskissen

Today we have a new sketch for you at Kortskissen. There is no deadline, and we’d love to see your cards. No InLinkz, just leave a comment with a link to your card.

For my card, I used three doilies, which I outlined with black Posca pen. The flower is a peel off sticker, and the Tack (Swedish for Thanks) is a stamp from Slöjd-Detaljer.

Baby Boy

Welcome to our challenge #175 at Cardz 4 Guyz. The theme is “Tiny Fingers and Tiny Toes” – baby card for a boy. I chose to make a card without any sentiment. That way it can be used either as a birthday card for a small boy or as a welcome to the world card. I also made a similar card for a baby girl (see the bottom of this post). The teddy is a stamp I designed for Reprint more than ten years ago and hardly ever use. For some reason I don’t like to use my own stamp designs (unless it’s text/sentiment stamps).

Thinking of You

Here we go with the catching up with blog posts. This time it’s this week’s sketch #420 at Kortskissen. I wanted to do something special for the recepient of this card. ♥ On the front is an image of her (as well as my) fave band, and inside is a greeting to her from the band. (Thank you guys for taking the time to write, that really meant a lot.)

It’s The Little Things…

Another late blog post… At Through The Purple Haze, our challenge #130 is Anything Goes. So feel free to create whatever you wish. 😀 There is still four days until deadline, so you still have the chance to participate.

For my card, I used old papers from My Mind’s Eye, glittery washi tape and stamp from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection “Good Thoughts”.

Christmas in July part 1

Another week when I’m late with my blog posts. I thought I’d manage to do everything in time now when being off work, but obviously not. Here’s my card for sketch #418 at Kortskissen. Remember we never have any deadlines, so you can let our sketches inspire you whenever you want and we’d love to see your cards.

The trees scene on my card is recycled from an old store bought Christmas card, and Happy Holidays is a peel off sticker.

Things With Wings

Our new challenge at Through The Purple Haze is “Things With Wings“. As I love using butterflies on my creations, that’s of course what I chose for this challenge.

I’ve made a one layer card. First I stamped the large butterfly. I also stamped it on a post-it note, cut it out and placed it on the butterfly I had stamped on the card. Then I stamped the butterfly panel three times as background. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this technique, it’s called masking.

I’ve colored the stamped images with three shades of yellow/orange, and then filled in all the black on the large butterfly with black Sakura Glaze gel roller pen to make it pop out a bit.

I used CAS(E) this Sketch #229 for the layout of my card:
